Amazon Distribution Facility

Distribution / Warehouse Facility — Batesville, AR

Scope

Full lightning protection system installation across a large-format distribution facility, including a conductor network routed across the entire low-slope roof and bonded to rooftop mechanical equipment.

The Challenge

The roof's size and the volume of rooftop HVAC equipment required a carefully sequenced conductor layout to keep full coverage without conflicting with existing units, walkway pads, or roof drains.

Work Performed

GroundStrike installed a perimeter and cross-run conductor network on non-penetrating standoffs, tied every rooftop unit into the grounding system, and routed conductors down to grade at engineered down-lead locations.

Result

A fully coordinated system covering the entire roof, installed without disrupting warehouse operations underneath.
